ProElut PSA sorbent contains two different amino groups, one primary and one secondary. It gives comparatively higher pKa and ionic capacity relative to ProElut™ NH2. The PSA sorbent is an excellent choice for extracting polar compounds from non-polar solvents. The compounds that are retained too strongly on a NH2 sorbent can be effectively eluted on a PSA sorbent. In addition, the PSA functional group is a very effective bidentate ligand in chelation applications
